  • Introduction to the NETA Form for Proposals

This form is intended for individuals who wish to propose the addition of a new section to the ANSI/NETA standards. Proposals submitted through this form will be reviewed by the NETA Standards Review Council as part of the ANSI/NETA standards revision cycle (typically every four years).

Each submission will be evaluated for technical accuracy, relevance to the electrical testing industry, and alignment with the scope and purpose of the applicable NETA standard. The Standards Review Council will issue a formal response indicating whether the proposed section has been accepted, rejected, accepted in principle, or deferred for further consideration.

Your contribution plays an important role in the ANSI-accredited consensus process and helps ensure that NETA standards continue to evolve in response to industry needs and innovations.

Where applicable, use the standard base format: 1.) Visual and Mechanical Inspection 2.) Electrical Tests, and 3.) Test Values
